Terms of Service

1. The service

BizFinAI reads the Tally Prime books you point it at and answers questions about them in plain language, with dashboards and voucher-level drill-downs. It is operated by Appmetry Technologies LLP, at [Registered office address — to be confirmed before launch].

2. Your Tally remains your books of account

BizFinAI reads from Tally; it never writes to it. The synced copy is a convenience for answering questions, not a book of account. Your books of account for the purposes of section 128 of the Companies Act, 2013 and any other law remain the records you keep in Tally. You are responsible for retaining them.

3. Acceptable use

Use BizFinAI only for books your business is entitled to access. Do not attempt to reach another organization's data, probe or overload the service, resell access, or use it to break the law.

4. Accounts and access

You are responsible for keeping your sign-in credentials and the connector's agent secret confidential, and for what the people you invite into your organization do with their access. Tell us promptly if you believe an account or a connector secret has been compromised.

5. Sync consent and opt-out

Cloud sync is on by default and keeps a private copy of the companies you choose on our servers in India. You may switch it off at any time from Settings; the synced copy is put beyond use at once and erased within minutes, and answers then come live from the connector on your PC. What is stored and for how long is set out in the Privacy Policy.

7. Availability and support

We aim to keep the service available but do not guarantee uninterrupted operation. Answers about live Tally data require the connector to be running on a PC with Tally open; when it is not, the service answers from your synced books, which may be out of date. Support is by email at privacy@bizfin.ai.

8. Data and confidentiality

We treat your books as confidential and use them only to operate the service for you. See the Privacy Policy for what is stored, where, and who processes it.

9. Liability

BizFinAI produces answers from your data with the help of AI models, which can be wrong. Check anything you rely on against Tally before acting on it — particularly for filings, audits and payments. To the extent permitted by law, our aggregate liability is limited to the fees you paid in the twelve months before the claim, and we are not liable for indirect or consequential loss.

10. Termination and deletion

You may stop using the service and ask us to delete your account at any time. We may suspend or terminate access for breach of these terms or non-payment. On termination the synced copy of your books is deleted; backups age out within 14 days.

11. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of India, and the courts at [seat — to be confirmed before launch] have exclusive jurisdiction.
